| Description | In 1931 the Hospital began the process of enlarging its objective, as laid out in its memorandum of association. The enlargement increased the scope of the hospital's activities from just 'pulmonary consumption' to 'all other forms of Tuberculosis' as well. Because of the memorandum and articles of association it was necessary for a case to be taken to the High Court of Justice to allow for this change.
