| Description | Small hard bound book of printed and numbered blank certificates of attendance for 3rd year clinical study in the Mater Misericordiae Hospital for a period of 9 months. Certificate also states ‘He [the student] has attended a Preliminary Course of Instruction in Clinical Methods during the first period of his hospital attendance before admission to Clinical Clerkship or Surgical Dressership’. The book contained 100 blank numbered certificates in total, perforated along one edge. Certificates numbered 1-39 have been removed and corresponding counterfoils remain listing the students’ name, the years of study within which the 9 months attendance from 1st October to 30th June took place, the Registrars’ signature, and the date of presentation. Counterfoils number 2-15, 17-18, and 20 contain full details of students name and occasionally address, dates, and Registrars’ signature; counterfoils 21-36 contain the students name only or students name and date of issue of certificate; numbers 16, 19, 22, and 37-39 are blank. The certificates contain spaces for the students name; the years of study within which the 9 months attendance from 1st October to 30th June took place; the Registrars signature and date of presentation.
