| Description | Manuscript letter from Wright to Colebrook from Boulogne. Wright praises a paper written by Leonard Colebrook and 'Duggy [Stewart R Douglas]', and discuss Wright's proposal to publish the 'Watson Cheyne' paper, which has been approved by Sir Alfred Keogh and A.J Balfour, although Lord Moulton and Sir Berkeley Moynihan's disapproval. Wright refers to Alexander Fleming and his enthusiasm about the 'palladium stunt', which Wright discusses in detail. He also sends a message to Fleming about 'staphs and streps'. Wright talks about the renting of his cottage, and the treatment of 'Miss Beard'.
A typescript copy of the letter made by Colebrook, which includes additional notes made by him on some of the topics under discussion, is included. |
