The first patient that is brought out is the 'young cathatonic', who had been shown to the students before. Norman then presents two patients suffering from 'melancholy'. Included with this transcript is an illustration of a man with the title 'Cathatonia' underneath him and the initials '[A]. W '05' written beside him.
