Statistics and Survey

This file contains four folders of Statistics and Log Sheets and one of counselling surveys.

The first folder contains statistics for Pregnancy Counselling Services in Limerick, Galway, Tipperary, Dublin which were submitted to the Department of Health.

Three folders containing statistics from a lever arch folder titled, ' Counsellors log sheets and monthly stat sheets'. These original log sheets cover all the Dublin clinics, Limerick, Galway, Clonmel and Cork.

The final folder contains counselling surveys from May 1997-May 1998.

An Irish country doctor looks back

Typescript autobiographical account by an unnamed Irish doctor practicing in Tipperary. The account covers the writers early life, medical education in Cork and Dublin and experiences during nearly 'half a century' of general practice in Tipperary. Although no name if given on the manuscript the biographical information contained suggests it may have been written by Dr Jeremiah Dowling.

It is not clear how the document came into the possession of the Macnamara family, but it seems most likely it belonged to Donough Wheeler Macnamara.
