Canadian Silver Cigar Box

Rectangular silver box. Stands on four feet, one at each corner. Interior is timber-lined. Hinged lid decorated with cast and applied beavers and maple leaves. The maker's name "PETERSEN/HAND MADE/STERLING" stamped on the side. Inscription on the front reads "Presented to/The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland/on the occasion of its Tercentenary Celebrations/by/The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada/May 1967".

Cardboard case with lid featuring a label detailing the contents. Inside is a DeVilbiss atomiser number 15, consisting of a clear glass body with a detachable nasal guard and adjustable tip, along with a detachable rubber bulb for the treatment of the throat and nose. Complete with paper leaflet. Made by DeVilbiss in Canada.
