| History | Samuel John Hudson was born in Belfast in 1887. The 1911 census records him as a newly married man, working as a chemist's assistant and living in Bangor, County Down. In 1914 Hudson had opened his own pharmacy at Bloomfield in Belfast, and was a Licentiate of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. In 1933 Samuel John Hudson was elected President of the Ulster Retail Drug Association. Samuel John died in Belfast on 4 September 1943. |
