DescriptionTypescript copy of letter to the General Medical Council, forwarding a copy of a resolution passed by RCPI relating to the admitting of recent graduates in medicine from the University of Allahabad to Colonial list of the Medical Register. The letter states RCPI strong concern about the level of education in midwifery provided at that university, and that 'even in this period of national crisis, to maintain to tact minimum requirements of the medical curriculum' is essential. RCPI feels that they can no longer accept registration by the General Medical Council Education and Registration of the UK as sufficient proof of studies by those who want to apply for their licences.
