| Description | Stainless steel tonometer in rectangular case. The words "WINTERS TONOMETER" and "Schietz-Tonometer Improved" imprinted in white on case lid. Exterior of case is grey; interior lined with red synthetic lining, marked with the word "Germany". There are two calibration weights marked "7.5" and "10", and a test block marked "Zero Set". There is also space in the lining for two other parts of the instrument, which seem to be missing. Instructions leaflet in German and English slipped into pocket of lid. This instrument is for measuring the intraocular pressure of the eye. |
