DescriptionThis is an unopened carton of sterilised standard dressing. The cardboard case has a white label with blue ink writing, stating “No. 9 Sterilised Standard Dressing (Large Medicated Wound) B.P.C. Directions: Avoid touching the wound and, when opening the dressing, do not touch the antiseptic pad. Place the pad over the wound, retain hold of the short end of the bandage. Wind the remainder firmly and tie in a knot. To open the carton, pull back the tab” on the larger side. On the shorter side, it reads “No. 9 Large Medicated Wound - Store in a Cool Place”.

This type of dressing promotes wound healing and protects the wound from infection.
