DescriptionThis is a dressing forceps. The item features two handles with finger rings on one end and blunt serrated tips on the other. The handles are detachable. Towards the finger rings, there is a ratcheted mechanism to secure the grip. Made of nickel-plated metal, it appears to be corroded. On the inner side, one shaft has the number ‘30’ engraved, and the other ‘PAT.5.3.92.’. It is part of the Dr Diarmuid O’Driscoll Collection.
