DescriptionThe item is a Tivnen Tonsil Forceps, featuring 3x3 teeth, an angled shaft, and two handles with a screw joint, one of which has an open finger ring. To secure the grip, there is a locking mechanism along with a spring assembly. The spring assembly consists of a coiled spring that provides tension, ensuring the forceps remain open when not locked. The teeth are sharp and curved, designed to securely grasp and hold tissue during surgical procedures, or to introduce sponges. Near to the joint, there is an engraved brand mark. One handle has an internal engraving “Brandenburg Vienna”, while both handles have the number 13. Minor signs of corrosion are visible.
