DescriptionThis is a vaginal speculum of the Auvard type. It is composed of smooth jaws with two lateral holes and a blunt tip, which helps it slide through the vagina. It has a long handle with a detachable weight. This type of vaginal speculum is self-retaining thanks to the weight. Made of steel, it appears heavily corroded. The number 28 is engraved at the end of the handle.
