TitleHypodermic Syringe in Case
Date1900-1949
DescriptionThe metal case contains a metal tray that houses a hypodermic syringe, made entirely of glass, along with three needles (two secured in a push-fit tube). The syringe is clear glass, with a white scale ranging from 0 to 20 cc. It features a glass barrel, with a gold chain attached to the syringe’s main body to keep them together. The needles are of different sizes. The metal tray, engraved with "DEPOSE", and case are heavily corroded, to the point that one side of the case is perforated, and the surrounding area is discoloured by chemical stains.
