TitleEar Syringe
Date1875-1925
DescriptionThis is a brass ear syringe with three finger rings, a metal piston, and a conical metal pipe. The plunger is detachable from the finger ring at its tip, allowing the removal of the two finger rings and lid body. The pipe is also detachable, allowing it to be changed with others. The pipe features two rings of red India rubber.
Signs of wear and tear present.

The syringe is used for ear irrigation, which helps in removing earwax, cleaning the ear canal, and ensuring the ear is clear during medical examinations. It can also provide relief from symptoms like hearing loss, earache, or fullness caused by earwax blockages. The detachable components, including the plunger and pipe, make it easy to clean and maintain. The red India rubber rings provide a better seal and comfort during use.
