| Description | This item is a Vulsellum Forceps, also known as a Tenaculum forceps, which is a medical instrument still used in gynaecology and obstetrics. It consists of a pair of screwed single-toothed jaws, secured by a ratchet mechanism locking between the finger rings. It is made of plated metal, which presents some corrosion. Towards the screw-joint, a circled 'F' and 'Chrome-Plate' are engraved. |
