DescriptionThis is a tin case made of enamelled metal containing an empty clear glass stoppered bottle. The tin surface shows signs of corrosion. The bottle contains residues, ten curved needles, and a hypodermic needle. The tin surface shows signs of corrosion.
This type of stoppered bottle was used as a sterilising jar for needles and ligatures.
