| Description | Framed Zeughaus Museum Presentation Gewehr 88 Bandana presented to Major General Francis Joseph O'Meara. Square piece of textile displaying various German military imagery. Black and red striped border decorated with red circles with black dots at centre. Nameplate at bottom of frame reads: "TO MAJOR-GENERAL F.J.O'MEARA/FROM THE ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL/CORPS/FOR VALOUR, NOBILITY A HUMANITY/TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN".
