The maker's name "PETERSEN/HAND MADE/STERLING" stamped on the side. Inscription on the front reads "Presented to/The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland/on the occasion of its Tercentenary Celebrations/by/The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada/May 1967".
