Obverse: profile busts of Empress Eugénie and Emperor Napoleon III, facing left, surrounded by the words "EUGÉNIE IMPÉRATRICE. NAPOLÉON III EMPEREUR" and underneath, the maker's name "CAQUÉ. F./GRAVEUR DE S.M. L'EMPEREUR." Reverse: an interior view of the Palais de l'Industrie exhibition building and underneath, the words "PALAIS DE L'INDUSTRIE/VUE DES GALERIES" and maker's names "JACQUES WIENER FEC." and "MANGUIN DEL." Edge is stamped "CUIVRE".
