Anusol Haemorrhoidal Suppositories were used for the treatment and relief of haemorrhoids and anal discomfort. The formulation reduce irritation, protect sensitive skin, promote healing, and alleviate pain, swelling, and itching. Anusol suppositories were inserted into the rectum to deliver localised relief, especially for internal haemorrhoids and anal fissures. The brand remains well-known today, with modern versions still widely used for the same purpose.
