DescriptionLarge silver-plated serving tray. Embossed floral edge and open handles. Originally on 4 feet, one of which now missing. Inscribed in the centre: "PRESENTED TO/Dr. Alexis Fitzgerald/By the Officers & staff of the/WATERFORD ASYLUM/on the occasion of his marriage/26TH JANY. 1910". Stamped on the underside are the maker's mark "JS&S" in a shield, a beaver, the letters "EPNS" and the number "2176".
