| Description | First part of the volume give a records of Dominic Corrigan's cases at the Hardwick Fever Hospital from October [1843] to Match 1845. Case records contains name, age, occupation and age of patient, with notes on history, symptoms, treatments, observations, and in some cases post mortem.There is an incomplete index to these case reports based on the patients surname.
The second part of the volume contains incomplete tabulated case notes of patients in Wards 1 and 3, from July to December 1845. Columns in the tables are - Name & age; Date of Admittance; Residence & employment; Ill before admittance; History; Present Symptoms and Process and Treatment. The original rough notes have later be copied out neatly.
There are a couple of ink sketches and caricatures at the reverse of the volume. |
