The first poem 'To Miss Joanna Woodlock' was composed by Dominic Corrigan shortly before their marriage, and copied by her into the volume. The remaining poems are extracts from famous works or pieces in publications. Included with the volume are some later notes on the family written by Lady Mary Martin, nee Corrigan, the daughter of Dominic and Joanna Corrigan. |
