Colebrook, Leonard, 1883-1967
DescriptionManuscript letter from Wright to Colebrook written from Boulogne, discussing the possibility of Colebrook being sent out for War work, and the unlikeliness of them being able to work together, even though in Wright's opinion 'there is nobody on earth I would rather have working and living with me'. Wright discuss two men currently working with him, Freeman and Fleming, and the 'excellent results' of their tests on the gas gangrene [vaccine] as well as less satisfactory ones on wound dressing. Wright also states that he has finished his last Royal Institution lecture, which included a criticism of Carrel, and has been sent to the Lancet for publication.

A typescript copy of the letter made by Leonard Colebrook is included.
