DescriptionManuscript letter from Wright to Colebrook, written at Boulogne. The letter discusses a woman by the name of Miss Beard and her seemingly fatal illness of [epithelioma], and the health of a mutual friend 'Duggie' [Stewart R Douglas]. Wright discusses changes to his team, and his attempt to 'have an experiment on a larger scale on the proper method of dressing wounds for journey. Wright discusses his plans for after the war, including his aim to be made Chairman of the Medical Research Committee, he intend to 'do that and writing books, but I shall feel the loneliness'.

A typescript copy of the letter made by Leonard Colebrook is included.
