| Description | This is a dressing tray made of white ceramic. It has a rectangular shape with a spout at one corner and sloping sides with angled corners. The bottom is stamped in black ink with "Fannin & Co," although it is hardly readable except for "Dublin." It is also embossed with "10 x 8," indicating the measurements in inches. One short side is chipped at the rim.
Dressing trays were commonly used for organising medical supplies, holding and transporting materials for wound care, and preparing medications. |
