DescriptionThis is an empty bottle that once contained a highly inflammable substance, produced by Murphy & Co. Ltd, as indicated by the red ink writing on the yellow label. It appears to be a clear glass bottle with a cork stopper. However, the presence of a former label underneath the acetone one and the white plastic ring towards the top of the bottle indicate that it was previously used for a different medicine. On the plastic ring, it reads “U.K. Pat. 812.580,” and on the white and light blue label, it shows “MSD” (the manufacturer’s logo), “5mg,” and “GB 7” on one side, and “Deltacortene Prednisolone tablets BP 5mg Prednisolone BP […] the supply of this preparation except […] store in a cool place protected […]” on the other.
