Description	Bound volume containing manuscript minutes of Committee meetings. The minutes show how the Great Famine resulted in outbreaks of fever in Dublin, especially in 1847. This placed great pressure on the finances, accommodation and manpower of Cork Street Fever Hospital, which the Committee tried to deal with by sanctioning the erection of tents to accommodate more patients and the raising of finance through loans and overdrafts. Minutes also show that the Cork Street received a large number of requests from other hospitals to take in an overflow of patients. A prominent topic in entries towards the end of the volume is the cholera epidemic of 1849.
