Typescript account of a lecture given by Conolly Norman on 'general paralysis' and
suicide. Norman wants to avoid the suicide of asylum patients, as 'You will have characters to lose, and perhaps some cash to lose' if a patient commits suicide. Norman lists a number of dangers to be aware of and the type of patient who may commit suicide. Norman gives a few examples of patients who committed suicide or attempted suicide and mentions his fear of being murdered by one of these patients.
