| Description | Bronze medal bearing the profile bust of Scottish physician, anatomist and zoologist Daniel John Cunningham (1850-1909). Obverse: around the edge are the words "DANIEL IOHANNES CUNNINGHAM DEFVNCTVS ADHVC LOQVITVR 1850-1909" and, in smaller font to the right of the head, the maker's name and date "OLIVIER SHEPPARD R.H.A. 1911". Reverse: an image of a brain surrounded by a laurel wreath and the words "ANATOMIAE STVDIOSIS LVMEN ACCENDIT LVMINOSVM LVMEN IPSE". The edge is stamped with a small triangle beside the word "BRONZE". |
