| Description | A complete run of the minute books of Saint Ultan's Hospital Medical Committee from the establishment of the hospital in 1919 to 1982. The Medical committee was established by the hospital's constitution and was made up of members of the medical staff. It had responsible for the running of the hospital's medical facilities, and had control over admissions, treatment and discharging of patients.
The minutes record the dates of meetings, and list attendances and absences. Subjects covered by the minutes include; appointments of medical staff, subject to approval of the board; reports from the various different medical departments within the hospital and on outside events that related to the medical staff. |
