| Description | Under the trust established by Sir Patrick Dun money was provided to pay the salary of a librarian, to look after Dun's Library. During the early part of the nineteenth century one of College Fellows was appointed as the Librarian, this was changed by the 1860s and a professional librarian was employed who also acted as clerk to the College and the Dun's Estate. The position of Dun's Librarian, an honorary elected post, was established in 1980 and is filled by a Fellow of the College. This section contains papers relating to the appointment of librarians to the College. |
