Tuomy had held the position for seven years and under the School of Physic Acts was entitled to hold it for a further seven years with the agreement of the College, the College agreed to this but did not publish the required notice, as a result of which they decided to publish an advertisement for the position as if vacant. File includes correspondence, legal documents and costs, and the report of the Visitors which found in Tuomy's favour and confirmed his appointment for another seven years. |
