Simon had delayed writing as he hoped to send Butcher a copy of a forthcoming paper of his own, but it has been delayed. He apologies for a recently published inaccurate description of Butcher's work and 'ingenious invention' although he was not the author, and assures Butcher that he will give him the personal mention which is his due when he does publish on excision. |
