Made of brass, the syringe is engraved with the Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom, featuring the unicorn and lion, along with the inscription: "Weiss Patent, 287 Oxford St. London." The syringe features a brass plunger, which is removable by twisting.

A complete set of this syringe would have included several nozzles, tubes, and a wooden plug, as it was used for enemas and as a stomach pump for poisoning.
The syringe presents signs of wear and tear.
