The notebook has the Trinity Logo on the front cover and is titled 'Experimental Physiology'. J G Kirker is faintly written on the front. The notebook is organised into the following sections, blood, muscle, blood pressure, pulse tracing, spinal reflex in frogs, actions of drugs on the central nervous system, metabolic rate, electrocardiogram, stethograph and respiration. Each section contains both handwritten text and drawings, with some ECG paper glued into the electrocardiogram and stethograph sections.
