Description[Mother-of-pearl] handled lancet with metal blade marked "WARREN". Accompanied by a handwritten note, which reads: "The lancet with which Napoleon was bled by/my old friend Barry O'Meara, & He gave it to me,/J[...] O'Meara; & a very small bit out of Napoleon's/box & two or 3 small bits of other things, not long after/he came to Ireland". Note is written in the same hand as that on bottle of snuff (FCD/2).
