Plaster Shears

These are plaster shears. It is composed of two shafts joined together by a screw joint. There are two finger rings on one end which are of different sizes. Towards the finger rings, there is a ratcheted closing mechanism to secure the lock. On the other end, there are two blades. One blade is curved and wide, whilst the other is curved and narrow. The space beside the screw joint is engraved with "STILLE SWEDEN" with two five pointed stars on either side, as well as another five pointed star beneath the logo. There is slight corrosion on the shears.


Plaster shears such as this one would have been used to remove plaster casts from patients in a precise and efficient manner, and are still in use today.

Enamel Bowl

This is a white Enamel Cup Bowl with a blue rim, made by the Swedish manufacturer “Kockums”.

Despite the significant corrosion of the enamel, the inscription “Kockums Ker Sweden 14 cm” can still be read.

Kockums is known for its high-quality enamelware, often used for camping, outdoor dining, and serving.

Single-ended Volkmann curette consisting of a small scoop at the end of a thick handle upon which appears the maker's name "STILLE/SWEDEN", a star and the number "4".
