On the obverse of the medal are the words:  "Mercer's &amp; Orthopaedic Hospitals Bazaar" and "Fac Similiter".  Below the word "Bazaar" is an outstretched hand; above it, the emblem of the Good Samaritan.  On the reverse is stamped:  "JEWELLERS CO/86, GRAFTON ST".</dc:description>
