Letters of Joseph and Luke Stock Notebook containing manuscript copies of letters written by Joseph and Luke Stock, to each other and to others, during the 1760s and 1770s. With the book is a letter from E Rothwell to 'Kate' [possibly Catherine Kirkpatrick wife of John Rutherford] explaining that the letters were found at Coolemine and the relationship between her husbands family the Kirkpatricks and the Stocks. John Rutherfords' maternal great-grandmother was Elizabeth Stock, later Sutton, a sister of Bishop Joseph Stock (1740-1813) [late nineteenth century]
