Rory O'Connor Hospital Plaque Rectangular [brass] plaque commemorating the Irish Republican Roderick (Rory) O'Connor (1883-1922) and naming a hospital bed in his honour. Light blue decorative edging and inscription, in Irish, reading "I gcuim[h]ne ar/Ruaid[h]rí Ó Conc[h]ub[h]air/do cuiread[h] in áirit[h]e go/síorraid[h]e an leaba so". Four small square mounts on back of plaque. An anonymous donor in San Francisco gave £25 for the naming of the bed. [1924]
