Leave book volume 3 Bound volume of patient requests for leave and approval or otherwise by the appointed visiting governor. Book includes sections for completion as indicated by printed headings, 'Applicant's name, time, and circumstances of case' and on the corresponding page, 'Visiting Governor's decision, and grounds for it'. A note at the bottom of each page reminds governors '....not to permit the fixed hours to be exceeded....'. A title, 'The Leave Book Hospital for Incurables' is handwritten in large decorative script on the inside cover of the volume. A separate index book is extant for this volume containing names of patients. 22 December 1885 - 16 March 1892
