<dc:title>Case of Arthur Calonne Vs. the College</dc:title>
<dc:description>This case was brought to the Visitors of the College by Dr Arthur Calonne in 1821 to protest that the College were refusing to examine him for the College's Licentiate. The College's refusal was based on the conditions surrounding the resignation of Calonne from his position as Medical Officer to the Dublin General Dispensary. Calonne maintained that he resigned his position, while the College maintain that he resigned before he was sacked by the Dispensary for misconduct in his post relating to the charging of patients.</dc:description>
