<dc:title>Letter from John Cheyne to Edward Percival</dc:title>
<dc:description>Letter from Dr Cheyne to Dr Percival, giving his opinion on James Macartney's 'anatomical communication', which seems to relate to the morbid appearances of fever in a recent epidemic. Cheyne has found different appearances to Macartney, he suggests this may be due to the nature of the bodies dissected. Cheyne has worked on the bodies of those who died in House of Industry whereas Macartney has to rely on bodies provided by grave robbing.
File also contains a typescript copy of the letter.</dc:description>
