Patient Admission numbers begin at ‘2324’ and continue onwards. Printed title on front cover reads ‘Registry of Patients Admitted into the Mater Misericordiae Hospital Commencing Jan 1 1865’. Manuscript page pasted onto inside cover giving ‘a return of the number of patients in the M.M. Hospital on the 1st January 1867’, it lists 29 patients under the headings: Register Number; Name; When Admitted [in] 1866; Days in Hospital; and Total Number of Days. Total number of patients admitted for each year is provided at the end of each calendar year; patient admission numbers begin again at number 1 at the start of a new year.
