  <dc:title>Nasal Forceps</dc:title>
<dc:description>This is a pair of nasal forceps in Hartmann's style, also known as alligator forceps. They consist of angles shafts from the handles. The handles culminate in two finger rings, and the other end of the arms is oval-shaped, with a textured interior aspect that has two oval fenestrations in the middle. By the screw joint, there is a stylized "F" engraved within a circle. On the interior aspect of the screw joint closer to the handles, the number "15" has been engraved on each stem.

These forceps are mildly corroded, with most of that corrosion concentrated by that screw joint and engraving. There is mild discoloration and nicks along the forceps from general use. There is heavy corrosion on the interior aspects of the screw joint that make it difficult to open the forceps. </dc:description>
