  <dc:title>Simpson's Perforator</dc:title>
<dc:description>This perforator is the straight Simpson's type. It consists of a joined curved handle ending in a beveled sharp arrowhead, with spring closure and hatched textured handles.
This instrument is used in obstetrics for various procedures, mostly known as destructive operations such as cephalocentesis, whereas others have been largely abandoned from modern obstetrics in favour of safer procedures like caesarean sections.
Discoloration and corrosion are present.</dc:description>
