<dc:title>Folding Gum Lancet and Tenaculum</dc:title>
<dc:description>This is a combined steel gum lancet and tenaculum, which can be folded into a tortoiseshell sheath. The base of the tenaculum is inscripted with "Weiss&Son London". The gum lancet was used for drawing blood while the tenaculum was used for seizing and holding parts of the blood vessels. They were also used in amputations when haemorrhages would occur.</dc:description>
