  <dc:title>Cystocopes in Case</dc:title>
<dc:description>The cedar wood case consists of a hinged lid secured with hooks on the lateral short sides. The lid presents a label with handwritten "baby cystoscope"
Upon opening, the case reveals a white plastic target saying "Genito-Urinary MFG. Co. LTD" in black ink and several compartments housing the two cystoscopes, an India rubber tube inside the compartment with a knob-removable lid, and a black cable cystoscope. The cystoscopes consist of a long, hollow shaft ending with a mounting end with luer locks and a blunt-tip end where the bulb light is. The set is completed with a telescope consisting of a long shaft with an eyepiece made of black vulcanite and a blunt diagonal tip.

These instruments were used in urological procedures. The cystoscopes, equipped with a light source, allowed doctors to visually inspect the bladder and urethra. The telescope provided a magnified view to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The rubber tube was likely used for irrigation or drainage during the procedure. </dc:description>
